RMF Magic 4.1 now available

RMF Magic 4.1 adds more logging options for unattended runs, the option to specify more than one SMF/ZRF input file for the reduce run on the Run Control Center, and Copy Services for HP/HDS Universal Replicator.

 

Version 4.1.0 provides three new functions as detailed below, as well as a number of fixes. There is no need to upgrade to this version if these features are of no interest to you.

 

New functions:

  • New command line option to specify a LOG file that the Message History is written to for unattended runs. Each line in the Message History is written to the LOG file immediately, rather than upon closing RMF Magic.
  • The Reduce tab on the Run Control Center allows specifying a second ZRF/SMF input file for the Reduce run. The second ZRF/SMF input file is intended for use with type 42 records.
  • The Copy Services tab on the Reporter Control Center now supports HP/HDS Universal Replicator.
